Pedro Berardinelli completed a Bachelor and a Master in Composition at the University of Aveiro receiving a merit scholarship for exceptional academic performance. During this period he regularly attended composition seminars and had later on some private lessons with Emmanuel Nunes, which had a major impact on him.

He finished a Master in Contemporary Instrumental Composition at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska with the highest grade, having Alberto Posadas and José Luis Torá as tutors.

He finished with distinction Post-graduations at the Kunstuniversität Graz and at the Kunstuniverstät Wien, having studied with Beat Furrer and Michael Jarrell.

He attended several courses, seminars and classes with composers such as Rebecca Saunders, Mark Andre, Philippe Manoury, Chaya Czernowin, Stefano Gervasoni, Yann Robin, Raphaël Cendo, Pierluigi Billone, Dmitri Kourlianski, among others.

He took part in several academies such as Composition Academy of the Festival Musical (Strasbourg), the Altitude University (Saint-Martin-Vésubie), Tchaikovsky Composers Academy, Stockhausen-Kurse and Impuls, having worked with Quatuor Diotima, Ensemble Multilatérale/Alain Billard and Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble/Ivan Bushuev, among others.

He is currently enrolled in the Composition Doctoral Program at the University of Aveiro and Kunstuniversität Graz (hosting institution) under the supervision of Sara Carvalho and Beat Furrer, being a scholar from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

He currently lives in Portugal and Austria.
